Travel Information

Travel Planning

Attendees traveling from outside of Kansas City for this event should book their hotel through the event registration form to receive the conference hotel rate. We will book the attendee’s hotel reservation on their behalf at the conference hotel room rate. However, it is the attendee’s responsibility to cover this expense.


Airplane travel is up to attendee to plan.

Covered Expenses

All attendees will be provided breakfast and lunch on April 26. On the day of the event, April 26, all attendees can park at the Arts District Garage adjacent to the Kauffman Performing Arts Center and their parking will be validated. All attendees traveling from outside of Kansas City will receive a separate invitation to a reception on the evening of April 25.

Not Covered Expenses

Travel expenses such as airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals outside of the event are not covered.


Attendees staying at the Westin can ride the Kansas City StreetCar free of charge from Union Station (across the street from the hotel) to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts stop. The stop is approximately three blocks from the venue.

Can someone else from my organization attend?

Yes, if you are no longer able to come but would like to be replaced by someone in your organization, please contact Jay Palm for approval via email at jpalm@wellingtonexperience.com or 913.402.1881 x155.

I did not receive an invitation. Can I still attend?

If you did not receive an invitation but wish to attend, please contact Jay Palm with your name, organization and role and your interest inquiry.

Wait List Process

Attendance at the conference will be limited. If you receive a notice that you have been placed on the wait list, you will receive a separate notification to register if an available spot opens up.

Cancellation Policy

Due to a limited number of spots available, if you have registered but know you cannot attend, please click here to cancel your registration.


In a new browser tab, you will be prompted to enter the email address and last name used for your registration. Click the “Continue” button. On the next page, click the “Cancel Registration” button at the bottom of the page.
